Saffron Mango, locally called Kesar, means saffron, saffron, one of the most expensive spices in the world. Saffron mango is grown in Gujarat and Maharashtra with saffron colored pulp with sweet taste and aroma. Saffron mango tree orchards are distributed over 20,000 hectares of land with fertile soil. This farm was located in the foothills of Maharashtra and Gujarat ranges, Junagadh and Amre Li districts and parts of Maharashtra. The yield of these fruits is few lakh tonnes in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
