  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

How to Make Mango Avocado Salad:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, diced avocados, chopped red onion, and fresh cilantro.
  • If using jalapeño, add the diced jalapeño to the bowl for a spicy kick.
  1. Make the Dressing:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  1. Assemble the Salad:
  • Pour the dressing over the mango and avocado mixture in the large bowl.
  • Gently toss the salad until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or lime juice as needed.
  1. Serve and Enjoy:
  • Transfer the Mango Avocado Salad to a serving platter or individual salad bowls.
  • Garnish with additional chopped cilantro or a slice of lime for a decorative touch.
  • Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing side dish or light meal, or refrigerate for later enjoyment.

Note: For best results, prepare the salad just before serving to ensure that the avocado remains fresh and vibrant. If making ahead of time, store the salad and dressing separately and combine just before serving to prevent the avocado from browning.
